Known as one of the most qualified Central Florida sports medicine physicians, Dr. Jurbala and his team of athletic trainers and orthopedic rehabilitation specialists also serve on the team physician staff as orthopedic doctors for the Florida sports teams at Southeastern University, Florida Southern College, Bartow High School and George Jenkins High School in Lakeland, Florida.

  • We are open Monday through Friday by appointment only.
  • Come prepared, Click Here to download and print patient information forms, have them printed and completed before your appointment.
  • When calling to schedule an appointment, please state the nature of your visit so that we can allow sufficient time for the services you require.
  • We reserve several slots for emergency appointments each day.
  • Be considerate to other patients and cancel your appointment no later than 24 hours in advance. Last minute cancellations are subject to a late cancellation charge.
  • Office and phone lines are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. During non-business hours, please leave your name, phone number and the nature of your call on our voicemail system, and we will return your call as soon as possible.

Clinical Services

The majority of the services provided at Highland Center for Orthopaedics in Lakeland are covered by most medical plans; however, there are several services that we provide that are not covered. Non-insured services include the cost of drugs administered, physicals for work, school or camp, prescriptions ordered without a consultation and insurance forms. Charges for these services vary. If you require treatment that is not available at our facility, we offer a referral service to ensure that you receive the proper care that you deserve.
